The Prodigy Gu was designed in collaboration with Eileen Gu, the 17-year-old Chinese-American “Skiing mega-star” who sky-rocketed onto the contest circuit last season with a historic X Games debut. Eileen medaled in all three events that she participated in, a first for a rookie female competitor in the event’s 25-year history. At just 17 years young, Eileen has already carved her name into the history books and the future looks bright as she sets her sights on representing China at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Hidden in the Dragon design is the phrase, “A dragon amongst people,” celebrating the bold individuals, like Eileen, who are blazing trails.
